Tour de Dramelay and Quinquenouille waterfall

cascade quinquenouille

Located in the small town of Dramelay, in the Jura, near Arinthod (39), the tower is listed from the 9th century. Its remains echo its glorious period of the 11th and 13th centuries. Among the ruins, the square plan keep tower (listed as a Historic Monument) is the best preserved element. It still has three walls of 2.20 m thick on three levels.

Cascade Quinquenouille

A path gives access to the ruins of the old village, next to the castle (well, chapel …) as well as to the Quinquenouille waterfall and the Dard gorges. This circuit is approximately 8 km. The departure is from the village of Dramelay.
