Campsite reception
To answer any questions you may have about the campsite, nearby tourist attractions or any other enquiries, the reception at the Domaine de Mépillat campsite in the Ain is open:
- April to September:
every day from 9am to 12 noon and 2pm to 7pm, except Sundays from 9am to 12 noon - from October to March :
we can be reached by telephone on 09 70 77 01 21 from 9am to 7pm every day.
PLEASE NOTE: for rental accommodation (mobile homes, yurts, bungalows, etc.), arrivals take place FROM 4:00 pm and departures before 10:00 am; for bare pitches, arrivals take place FROM 2:00 pm and departures before 12:00 pm (“early arrival” and “late departure” options available at extra cost).
The grocery store
Forgotten something? Need something at the last minute?
Our grocery store provides you with basic necessities (milk, coffee, pasta, washing-up liquid, sponges, etc.) as well as confectionery, a wide choice of drinks and hygiene products.
Of course, throughout the summer months (July and August), you’ll also find refreshing drinks, ice creams, sorbets and other delicacies, as well as our gourmet pizzas, to enjoy on the terrace or to take away.
Bread, pastries and breakfast
Vacations start in the morning, so if you like, we can offer you a delicious full breakfast, including a hot drink, orange juice, pastries, bread, butter and jam, if you book in advance.
(Served on the snack bar terrace or can be taken to your pitch/accommodation).
You can also order bread and pastries from us the day before, and collect them the next day before enjoying them on the terrace of your mobile home rental in the Ain.

Staying connected to wifi
At our campsite with a fishing lake in the Ain, we invite you to switch off completely. However, to help you stay in touch with the rest of the world and your loved ones, we offer Wi-Fi access around the reception area, the snack bar terrace, the pétanque court and the pool area. This service is provided free of charge. Simply ask for access at reception.
While you enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, you can continue to post your vacation memories and share your most memorable moments at our campsite – instantly, thanks to our high bandwidth.
However, as a business decision and out of a desire to respect the environment and preserve the peace and quiet of the site, our eco-friendly campsite in the Ain has made a conscious choice not to extend Wi-Fi to the pitches. This decision is part of an eco-responsible approach, encouraging a genuine return to simplicity and a connection with nature.
The snack bar
A little hunger… or a big appetite?
At our campsite’s snack bar in Saône-et-Loire, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your cravings.
Whether you’d like to dine on the terrace in fine weather, in our lovely dining room decorated in traditional Bresse colours, or simply take away to make your life easier, we offer a range of high-quality pizzas prepared on the premises.
On the sweet side, a full range of ice creams, sorbets and other pastries is available to finish your meal in style, or simply for your enjoyment at any time of day, accompanied by a cool drink or a coffee on the terrace.
Drinks, ice cream and sweets service open all day.
Catering: Every evening (except Tuesday and Wednesday) in high season and Saturday evenings in low season.

- Laundry: free-access washing machine.
- Refrigerators: for your convenience, refrigerators can be rented.
- Sheets: sheets for hire.
- Baby accessories: kit rental (highchairs, cots, pots).
- Barbecues: Only gas barbecues are permitted on the campsite (charcoal and electric barbecues are not permitted). They can be hired if required.

In Saint-Nizier or Cormoz (3 km/3 mins): grocery shop, bakery, hairdresser’s, post office, church, bar-restaurant, car repair shop, riding centre…
In Saint-Trivier-de-Courtes (8 km/8 mins): supermarket, newsagent, banks and cash machine, hairdresser, doctors, chemist, butcher’s, petrol station…
In Saint-Amour (15 km/15 mins): Hypermarket, tobacconists and newsagents, banks and cash machines, Tourist Office, hairdressers, chemists, bakeries, petrol stations, restaurants, cafés…
Travelling with your pet
If you look around, you’ll find plenty of animals at the campsite near Bourg-en-Bresse: mischievous squirrels leaping from branch to branch and playing together, wild rabbits roaming free and playing hide-and-seek, startled roe deer that sometimes bound across the grounds in great leaps, shy and peaceful hedgehogs that pop their heads out at night in search of food… and, of course, the many birds that nest in the tall trees on the campsite just outside Louhans.
But most importantly, your everyday four-legged companions are welcome here! We understand that they’re an integral part of your family.
Because we think they deserve a great vacation too, we accept up to 3 dogs per rental. Now that’s mega-dog-friendly! Travelling with your dogs will no longer be a hassle or a headache.
Imagine yourself strolling along the wooded paths of our campsite, with your faithful companions by your side, discovering the wonders of the surrounding countryside together. Whether it’s a peaceful morning walk around Mepillat Pond or an adventurous hike along the paths bordering the campervan-friendly campsite, there’ll always be an opportunity to create new memories with them.
Back at your campsite, relax and savour the moment whilst your dog(s) rest(s) by your side.
So don’t hesitate, and don’t forget the essentials in their suitcase: collars and leads, harnesses for long walks with them, games, bowls and kibbles!
For your information, we do not accept category 1 and 2 dogs. Vaccination records must be up to date and dogs must be kept on a leash inside our campsite.
Charging your electric vehicle
At our campsite near Pont de Vaux, comfort and sustainability come together seamlessly to offer you an unforgettable experience. To cater for owners of electric and hybrid vehicles, we have installed charging points. Charging is available at up to 22 kW. This initiative underlines our commitment to the future and the environment.
Now, if you own an electric car, you can plan your stay with us with complete peace of mind, knowing that you’ll have access to convenient and reliable recharging facilities. No need to worry about your vehicle’s range while you’re on vacation: our charging stations are there to meet your needs.
