The swimming-pool

Is the campsite pool heated?

Yes. The swimming pool is heated.

Are inflatable games allowed in the pool?

No, for safety and to guarantee everyone’s peace.

What is the opening period of the pool?

The swimming pool is open from May to the end of September, depending on weather conditions.
The pool hours are as follows:
May, June and September: 10 am-7pm / July and August: 10 am-8pm

The lake

Is it possible to swim in the water next to the campsite?

No, swimming is not allowed in the pond. On the other hand, the campsite swimming pool can accommodate all customers staying at the campsite. It is open from May to September.

Can we fish in the pond?

Yes, fishing is authorized on condition that you have an annual card or daily fishing tickets. It is possible for customers of the campsite to buy these at a preferential price of 2.50 €.

What types of fish can you catch?

You can fish for carp, white, tench, pike, zander and trout.

Camping pitches

Are the pitches equipped with an electrical connection?

There are pitches without water or electricity and pitches equipped with all comforts (water and electricity 10A)

Do I need an adapter for the electrical connection?

Yes, the electrical terminals on the sites have special European type sockets, so it is necessary to provide an adapter. You can rent them directly at the campsite reception (price: 10.00 € per adapter).

Are the pitches equipped with water points?

There are pitches without water or electricity, and pitches equipped with every comfort (water and electricity).

Does the price of the site include water and electricity?

Yes, water and electricity are included in the comfort packages (a pitch for a tent / car or a caravan / car or a motorhome and 2 people).

Do motorhomes have reserved pitches?

No. It is possible to install a motorhome on all pitches.

Can we drain the toilets directly on the sites?

No, on the other hand, a device is provided for this purpose in the common toilet block.

Is there shade on the pitches?

The majority of the campsite is wooded. The pitches are mostly shaded. The campsite is oriented so that you can enjoy the sunset over the water and that you are not awakened by the rays of the sun early in the morning.

Rentals

Are the rentals equipped with linen, dishes, etc.?

Each rental is equipped with the dishes necessary for a pleasant stay. There are also duvets or blankets and pillows.
However, sheets, pillow cases, bathroom linen are not provided.
For this, we have a rental service for sheets and towels to be provided when booking or at the latest 1 week before your arrival.

When I arrive should I leave a deposit?

Yes, a deposit of 250 € is required on your arrival. It can be done by check or bank card.
It will be returned to you after verification of the rental by us.

Does the rental price include cleaning?

No, cleaning is not included in the rental price.
You can opt for the cleaning package (60 €) when you book or at the latest the day before your departure.
The cleaning fee does not exclude making the rental in a suitable state: clean and tidy dishes, tidy furniture.

Can we leave outside reception opening hours?

Yes. Just let us know the day before. We will do an inventory after your departure. Your deposit will then be destroyed, canceled or returned to you at your option.

Is it possible to park 2 vehicles in front of the rentals?

No, the second car must remain in the parking lot in front of the campsite.

Are the rentals equipped with TV?

Yes, with the exception of yurts and canvas bungalows, all of our rentals are equipped with televisions.

Booking

From what time is it possible to settle on the pitches or in the rentals?

For pitches: arrival possible from 2 p.m.
For rentals: arrival possible from 3 p.m.

What time should the pitches and rentals be vacated?

For pitches: they must be vacated by 12 noon at the latest.
For rentals: they must be vacated no later than 11am.
We will ask you to make an appointment at the reception for the inventory no later than the day before your departure.

Is it possible, exceptionally, to arrive outside reception opening hours?

In case of late arrival, outside opening hours, just notify us by phone on 09 70 77 01 21 the day before your arrival. We will then communicate the procedure for accessing your location / rental.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by bank cards, checks, cash, holiday checks.

How to make a reservation?

You can easily make your reservation directly from our website. There is no fear about this, we use a fully secure booking gateway and most customers use it. You will have access to all our availability according to your requests.
A deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay will be required which you can pay by credit card, bank transfer, bank check or holiday vouchers.

When is the balance of my reservation requested?

The balance of your reservation must be paid at least 30 days before your arrival.

Is it possible to book less than a week?

Yes, it is possible to reserve a few days. This depends on the booking period, the type of rentals and their availability.

What is the cancellation insurance for?

The Cancellation Insurance option that we offer when you book, allows you to be covered in the event of unforeseen circumstances that force you to cancel your vacation.
You should know that even if you pay your stay by conventional credit card, in case of cancellation, you are only rarely covered. Family problems, postponement of holidays, in case of unforeseen events, if you have to cancel without insurance, you will have to settle anyway.
If you choose the cancellation guarantee, you must do so at the time of your reservation. For an amount of 3.5% of the total price of your stay. All participants in stays will be covered in the event of cancellation.
Without cancellation guarantee and for whatever reason, the deposit paid will not be refunded and the entire stay may be requested.

Miscellaneous

Are dogs / cats accepted?

We accept dogs apart from those classified in category 1 and 2, no more than 2 per pitch or rental. They must be kept on a leash.
On the other hand, cats are not tolerated in rentals.
These animals must be up to date with their vaccines.
A supplement will be requested per animal.

Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?

Only gas barbecues. Electric or charcoal barbecues are prohibited on the campsite.

Can friends come to the campsite?

Yes of course. They will be considered visitors, under the responsibility of their hosts. They must report their presence at reception and pay the fee in force. However, they will not be allowed to access the swimming pool.

Is it possible to rent cots and high chairs?

Yes. We offer a kit including a cot and high chair (see price at reception).

When can you order bread and breakfast?

This service is offered during the entire opening period of the campsite, except on Mondays, the baker’s rest day with which we work.
In April, May, June and September, we can drop off your orders directly on your site. Otherwise, for the months of July and August, you can come and pick them up directly at the restaurant or take the time to eat them on the terrace.

Is Wi-Fi available on the campsite?

Wi-fi is available free of charge at the reception or on the restaurant terrace.

Is the campsite far from shops?

On site, you will find essential products and bread and pastries services.
Otherwise, Saint-Nizier-Le-Bouchoux is 3 km from the campsite. There you will find a bakery, a grocery store, a coffee shop, a post office.
Saint-Trivier-de-Courtes, which is about ten kilometers away, offers a supermarket, hairdresser, butcher, bakery, tobacconist, gas station, restaurants, etc.

What are the curiosities and things to do or see around the campsite?

There are lots of things to do around. Whether you are looking for calm and relaxing activities or monuments to visit, you will be spoiled for choice, less than an hour from the campsite. For more details, come see our dedicated pages in the “around” section.
