Is the campsite safe for young children?
Yes, the site is fully fenced off, making it a safe family campsite for young children. Traffic is limited and kept to a minimum, and the playground is located near the snack bar terrace and reception. This means parents can enjoy their holiday with peace of mind, whilst the little ones explore freely.
What can you do with the children when it rains?
If it rains, you can enjoy some quality time indoors by borrowing board games or visiting the library. The snack bar area also welcomes families for a snack or a game of cards. As soon as the skies clear, nature takes centre stage once more, offering new outdoor adventures. What’s more, there are plenty of museums and indoor activities not far from the campsite.
Is the swimming pool suitable for children?
Yes, the heated swimming pool is suitable for families with children. Its flat-bottomed pool, which is 1m25 deep, allows the little ones to get used to the water and splash about in complete safety, whilst sun loungers and parasols are available for parents nearby. It is open from 10.00 to 19.00 without a break, and access is restricted to holidaymakers.
Can we bring our dog along as a family?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the Domaine de Mépillat. Your dog can join you on walks around the lake and through the countryside. Provided they are kept on a lead within the campsite grounds, they are an integral part of your family holiday, whilst respecting the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the local wildlife.
